Contribution Plot

🕵️‍♂️ What is this?

This is a crime scene analysis chart. It allows you to dig deeper: Who exactly caused this sample anomaly?

It compares the difference between an abnormal sample and a normal sample, and assigns responsibility to specific variables.

🧐 How to read?

  • Columns: Each column represents a variable.
  • Height: Represents the contribution of this variable to the anomaly.
  • Positive/Negative:
    • Positive: This variable is too high compared to normal values.
    • Negative: This variable is too low compared to normal values.

🛠️ How to use?

  • Find the culprit: Look at the tallest column - it's the main cause of the anomaly!
  • Investigate the reason: For example, if "temperature" has the greatest contribution, check if the air conditioner broke down that day.

Let data speak, make decisions simpler.
