Trend Chart

📈 What is this?

Imagine a stock chart. The trend chart is used to show how a variable (such as temperature, pressure) changes over time (or sample order).

  • X-axis: Time or sample number.
  • Y-axis: Variable value.

🧐 How to read?

  1. Check the trend: Is the value increasing, decreasing, or fluctuating within a certain range?
  2. Find sudden changes: Are there any points that suddenly jump very high or low? That might be an abnormal situation (e.g., sensor failure).
  3. Check periodicity: Does the same waveform repeat every certain period?

🛠️ How to use?

  • Single variable analysis: Only one variable is displayed by default. You can switch to view other variables through the dropdown box.
  • Comparison analysis: Although this is a single-variable chart, you can quickly switch to see if the fluctuations of different variables are synchronized.
